Our Story

A few words from our Founder:

"Ever since I was a little girl, I believed that good hair and skin was down to genetics. This changed in 2019 when I experienced extreme hair damage for the first time. I had gone to a renowned hairstylist who transformed my long dark locks into a beautiful blonde balayage. As happy as I was with the final reveal, I had instant regret when I realised the extent of the damage that the bleach had caused to my hair. My once naturally smooth and silky hair had become dry and coarse with split ends. 

I couldn't bring myself to chop my hair off because I have never liked short hair on myself. And so began my journey of nursing my hair back to good health. One of the key products that helped me grow my hair faster and prevented further damage was switching my cotton pillowcases out for a silk one! Although I invested in expensive silk pillowcases, each one seemed to fall apart and some even lost their smooth and shiny texture after only one wash - I was shocked!

That's when I decided to source the best silk to make my own pillowcases! I tested our products for 2 years before launching the business to ensure that we have premium quality and long-lasting products.

Switching out my regular pillowcases for silk pillowcases and my hair ties for silk scrunchies was a game changer for my hair growth journey. The anti-aging benefits was just a cherry on top! My hair is looking better and longer than ever today and I've never looked back! I am so happy with my results that I couldn't wait to share my secret with others!"
